Obi Wan makes a dashing appearance all over Coruscant in his flashy new Bull Rancor Class Airspeeder. I built this small speeder for the April Bullship Contest at The CABG.
About this creation
This was my entry for the April Bull Ship Contest at the CABG. It is Obi Wan's personal airspeeder for Coruscant. The white horns on the front and sides of the ship come from sacred Bull Rancor bone yards on an Outer-Rim world. They are believed by the Jedi to hold powerful rancor spirits which can be tamed to help protect the holder. Obi attached them to the front of his airspeeder because he is not one of the best pilots in the Galaxy!
Angled front shot of the speeder. I was originally going to make a pimped-out speeder for Mace Windu but ran out of purple. Speeders are pretty fun to build actually, so I think you might see one for Mace sometime soon.
Front shot. I attached a lightsaber hilt to the front of the speeder to add in more chrome flavor as well as to mimic the winged figure seen on a 1930's Rolls Royce model.
Closer shot of the engine greebles. The picture color came out a little weird, so I apologize if your eyes hurt. I put two red astromech droid bodies in there just like in TLC Bounty Hunter Pursuit set. It stands out a little too much for my taste but I liked the design I came up with (and didn't have ablack astromech yet- which probably would've worked better) so I ended up staying with it.
Top shot of the speeder. I really liked the angles of this speeder, as well as the elongated front and short cab in the back. From this angle the speeder kind of looks like a horseshoe crab :P
Angled back shot. I also liked the angles I ended up with back here to help continue the flow of the vehicle while cramming in those engines.
Back shot of the speeder's engines.
The cabin of the speeder. I <3 dark tan so much now. Originally this was created as the seat for Mace's speeder, but the color went so well with dark bley and republic red that I had to keep it.
Obi pilots the chick-magnet down the night club part of Coruscant and waves slowly to hot Twi'Lek women.

Gotta be one of my favorite creations on MOCpages so far! I love the concept of it, and the fangs give the model a fantastic rounded look! Your use of parts in unconventional ways is brilliant here, especially the R2-D2 parts..
Reason why Obi-Wan doesn't like flying in the movies is because he doesn't have this!! Magnificent work! I have to add you to my favoritebuilders- too bad that i haven't found your creations before- how could i have missed them??
