Just one of the many Alphatron groups.
About this creation
COMPLETED--05/16/2009

Here's the start of my new theme, Alphatron. Put simply, Alphatron is the result of many lesser Trons combining into one large Tron in an attempt to achieve together what they could not alone.
The conglomeration process was as simple and quick as possible and, while the uniform "vest" was made a requirement, other aspects of standardization were ignored. This has resulted in a huge array of variations within Alphatron as far as coloring and design go.
For this first variation the colors are black, lime green, trans-neon green, trans-blue, dark gray, dark blue and silver. The fun thing about Alphatron is that the only requirements are the Lego Agents torso, and that it's a Space creation. The color scheme is whatever you want. Join the Alphatron group!

The Alphatron Laserbot can be carried under the wing of the Starbolt and be deployed for combat assistance at any time.

The Alphatron Cargo Buggy has a very useful auto turret and a fairly large cargo bin. Its speed can be very useful.

The Alphatron Starbolt is a versatile fighter. The beam cannon is the main weapon and can pivot up and down. The ability to carry a Laserbot under the wing vastly improves its capability.

An unlucky Rainbowtron scout is pursued! Rainbowtron and Alphatron are the worst of enemies.

Here's a group shot with the big catch!

Okay thanks. I've just finished my Rainbowtron MOC, so I've placed a PAB order for one of those torsos because I want it to have a proper Rainbowtron minifig. I'll post it after the 12-15 business days when it should arrive.

Quoting Nate Bush Hey, I've got a question: where did you get that torso for the Rainbowtron minifig? Is it a decal or what?
It's actually a new torso that comes with one of the new Agents sets. I just got it on the Lego 'pic a brick' website though.

The color scheme sounds insane when you first hear about it, but it actually works really nicely. You also did a great job with that curved wing in the back. My one big problem with this MOC is the hollowness of the wing; I understand the playability requirements of carrying the robot down there, but it really makes the wing look incomplete. Still, this is an auspicious start to a new theme.

The Starbolt is an awesome creation, the arched wing is pure genius, and the Laserbot is very retro :)

What a great start for Alphatron !!! The big ship is totally awesome, but the 2 smaller MOCs are really cool too, and the result is a priceless page ! I love lime so it's a good color scheme, and the Alphatron concept rocks. The Rainbowtron guy is funny , nice decal. Great job all around !!!
