The first in my series of vignettes. I was inspired to do this after I went there and saw the Battlefield myself. Sorry about the writing not really fitting in with the pics. The reason the photos are a weird color is because I wanted to make them look old fashioned. Enjoy!-AA:)
About this creation
April 9th/1917/Canadian Trench
Here you can see me, I served with the 1st Canadian Division during World War One. I never really fought that much, my usual duties were to clean the barracks, or make sure our trenches were well sandbagged. The reason I have these photos is because our photographer gave me them, and told me that the newspaper had other photos already, so I pasted them in here. But a few days ago the Germans started shelling us and making assaults toward our trenches. So far, none of them have been sucsessful and I hope it stays that way.
The photographer must have taken this shot when I wasn't looking, because I don't remember him taking it.
We've just recieved orders about an assault on the Germans, but I'm not quite sure what I heard,so yeah.
Quoting Lt. Colonel Ghostman
I like it, and the little story line. I think you should put maybe some equitment in the trenches. And maybe using my barbed wire design on top of the trench. Good work anyways. ~ Ghostman :)
Thanks, this isn't the best one, but I will make better ones soon.-AA:)
