Alien and Marine figs
The 78th version of the Alien on MOCpages (or so it seems)
About this creation
More stereotypes. This time, a very popular MOC it seems, the Alien and a Colonial Marine.

I've looked around and there are lots of these on here, but i'm quite pleased with how my 20-minute version holds up, both in scale and shape.

I am going to make some more of these, but I intend to improve the legs first. Make them a bit more angled and slimmed down at the bottom.

Brickarms Pulse rifle vs. Acid-blooded xenomorph. It's going to be messy.

I was so pleased with how this quick make turned out that i'm going to make a power loader and Ripley and some other Alien/ Aliens themed bits - watch this space.

Comments always welcome. Thanks for looking.

Salutations Stu! I have come to seek petty vengeance for my defeat at your hands in round 3. In order to defend my honor, I am required to challenge you to a duel at sunrise in the MO Side Event #3 group challenge room: I shall see you there, good sir. The weapon shall be an agreed category, and we shall be judged by our peers. No seconds are required.

Nice alien, surely you did better "arms" then I did. Yeah, legs can be pain in the ass(did the same way as you),the head looks...different :D. I have used those rounded ones, but it makes their head a bit too big...Anyway, i really like your alien, good work.Cheers

Quoting Matt Shack Sweet, Could you make Predator?
I could try, but a decent head would be the difficult part without making it custom. I have seen some great ones on Flickr. Thanks for the comment!

Thats a great minifig scale alien..a horde of these would only enhance the illusion. trying some in different stages of running, jumping etc. would work as well. Maybe trade the black cheese slope on the head for the trans smoke one would be more like the original.

Excellent work on making that Alien. It looks like you added alot of small details to it. I really like how you made that head of the Alien. I bet the outcome would be a bloody mess with those two together. ~ Ghostman :)

Quoting affliction . This is easily the best minifig-scale Alien I've seen. The transparent 1x1 round plate is supposed to be teeth or drool?
Thanks, that's pretty high praise! The trans round plate is a bit of a happy accident - Supposed to be teeth, but only the Alien queen has transparent teeth, the 'normal' aliens have black. But you know when something looks right then you stick with it, and i liked the trans piece better than a black equivalent. Probably because it looks a bit drooly!

Brilliant, I couldn't believe that an Alien fig could possibly be made out of lego, until now. I'm speechless. -Dylan
