These are the men and women behind the machines that make up the Tri-Planet Coalition and the 18th Deep Space Fleet.
About this creation
“Ready to lead our men into battle with the enemy.”
The admirals of the fleet, ready to lead their fleets wherever. Left to right: Admiral Chauncy; Incron, Fleet Admiral Gordon; Hondus, Admiral Johnson; Tiber, Admiral Ordance; Hondus. The Fleet Admiral commands the deployed flotilla, each admiral leads his respective flotilla.
“A quick strike will finish them!”
Rapidly deploying infantry, or RDI, is called on to plug gaps in the line, harass the enemy, or mop up the retreating forces. It is a hazardous job, accomplished with small arms, fast vehicles and a will for the job.
“We wield the Molder’s sword in battle!”
The heaviest armored regular forces infantry that the Tri-planet Coalition fields, these men are given the hardest tasks of charging machine guns, heavy plasma weaponry, and crossing countless no-man’s lands. It is a demanding and hazardous job, and hence has given rise to the use of performance enhancers and/or narcotics. An order ending the practice of shooting oneself up before battle only meant that the narcotics were made by the men themselves. The most popular of these self-made narcotics is an inhalant called: The Molder’s Breath.
“We’re the Molder’s first guns into battle.”
The rank-and-file soldier of the 18th, the average GI that gets the job done. Equipped with the latest in weapons and field gear, they are well equipped to handle their duty.
“We will leave none alive, as the Molder wills.”
Hardsuits forged on Tiber, these wonders of mechanics make the individual a walking tank. Capable of wielding the wearer’s choice of weapons-from miniguns to rockets-they are used to support infantry, or armor, and clear out the enemy from the most remote place. “The Molder is with us to heal the wounded.”
The best and brightest of medical school become the field medics that keep the men alive. Arriving within minutes to aid, combat casualties are kept to a minimum.
One of the more interesting units employed by the TPC are these creatures from the jungles of Tiber, the Spydera. Domesticated and properly trained, they are moderately intelligent, non-sentient spiders that carry a laser on their backs. Thanks to special technology that differentiates between spider and human, the spider only need rush an enemy formation and the laser fires automatically. Due to speed, agility, and arachnophobia, few are killed in battle. Often sent in months in advance of the main force, they can breed and grow in numbers, making them the only self-regenerating unit in the field. Though only the original spydera have laser mounts, the creatures themselves have a venomous bite, capable of killing in minutes.
“We are the Molder’s finest; ready wherever and whenever you need us.”
When a dark and forbidding planet demands all you have, you give it all you got. Some claim it, most covet, but few can truly own the honor of the title Space Marine. Be it hostile and toxic terrain, irradiated planets, or boarding and taking an enemy ship, give that tough job to the Space Marines.
