ATMP-1 Missile Tank
About this creation
The All-Terrain Missile Platform is a fast, heavily armored tank. The missile tank's four enormous, reinforced tires are capable of handling any terrain and can crush many battlefield obstacles as it careens heedlessly over them. Adorned with thick, reactive armor platting on all sides, it is employed to deliver ballistic support into the midst of intense combat zones while surviving heavy enemy fire.

The missile tank can attain land speeds of up to 75mph over almost any type of terrain. If the pilot activates the seals on the tank's autocannon barrels, it can even plow through shallow rivers and streams. The bottom of the missile tank is also heavily armored to protect it from land mines or other hazards.

When engaging enemy infantry or light armor, the missile tank utilizes twin SH-AC293 29mm burst autocannons to chew through opposing units. Mounted on the rear of the tank is a pivoting hard point for mounting dual missile launcher pods. Any missile tank can be quickly equipped with any of a variety of launchers. The ATMP-1a configuration sports two SH-MLM8 missile launchers, each containing eight TTE-46 Hermes guided missiles. These precision medium-range weapons are used to destroy heavy mechanized units and bring down enemy aircraft. They can be rapid-fired in salvoes, with each missile in the barrage tracking the same target or each engaging a separate target.

The ATMP-1b configuration carries two SH-MLM5 missile launchers, boasting a total of ten TTE-5000 Artemis long-range missiles. Used to attack enemy installations, large groups of units or ships far offshore, the speed and range of these weapons coupled with that of the tank itself allows the ATMP-1b to deliver high-yield warheads deep behind enemy lines in short order. To compensate for the Artemis' shortcomings as a close-range weapon against smaller, evasive targets, ATMP-1b tanks are usually accompanied by several of their Hermes-equipped brethren.

Two cannons and sixteen missiles amount to a lot of pain.

Yes, you should be able to see the missile bodies under there, but they won't fit anyway. Maybe this is what's visible when the launchers are not loaded.

Beautiful, its nice and sleek. However I would recommend changing out the current tires for the large air ones, as seen on the Dino Attack humvee, other then that this reminds me greatly of the rocket buggy from C&C:Generals.
