Dark Elf Shadow Force
The Dark Elven Shadow Force is constructed of several units. It was at first a strict law enforcement/assassin force, but grew into an army. Stealth and lightning attacks are what define Shadow Force.
About this creation
The standard spearmen of Shadow Force are lightly armored cavalry. They excell as scouts and warriors.

The spearmen can charge into battle almost unnoticed, and prefer black horses for stealth. Dark Elves are not evil; they are just mysterious and hidden.

An axe is considered the best infantry weapon by the Dark Elves. It is powerful, decent for working in formations, and can be used in a variety of situations. The standard infantry man is clad in sturdy black armor with a skull for intimidation.

Here are two elven axemen working together. The result is greater than the sum of the parts, but not as much so as the Goblin Army.

Dark Elven archers have very light black armor and longbows. Unfortunaltely the picture is blury, but he has the Episode III Anikan head.

The elven archer has a similar quiver to the goblin archer, but it is slightly smaller.

The elite of the Shadow Forces are the Halberdiers. They wear pure black armor, broad round shields, and deadly halderds.

These elite troops are adept fighters, and can form formations very well. Their skill exceeds all others in the army.

The assassins are not an official part of the army, but they travel with the warriors, much to the discomfort of most. They are the most stealthy of the Dark Elves, carrying small daggers and similar items.

The Dark Elven commander of Shadow Force is named Varaithisk (all elves have weird long names) and carries are large, mainly ceremonial, sword. It is useful for little more than slashing.

Shadow Force has legions at Varaithisk's command willing to repell invaders or attack enemies.

I should have had this out months ago, but I was distracted by my Star Wars project (which is doing fine but taking time). I also have my Half-elven and Human forces built and sitting around for months.

I'll try to build a diorma sometime, but no promises. I am still busy with the Star Wars city, and went on too many vacations and camps. I actually set up a battle using my Goblins, Dwarves, Half-Elves, Dark Elves, and Humans on a grassy plain with a small hill and some plants, but I didn't take any pictures, and it's too late now. If I were to make a diorma, should I do forest, plains, or city style? To Darden, the sword is from the adventurer sets, where they used an elephant and a turban guy. I think the adventurer line is discontinued now.

Actually, the use of two handed axes, like all weapons requiring a wide swing, is quite ill advised in formations. I really like this squadron, though :)

I like them. I want one of those swords that Varaithisk has (Be happy! I was smart enough to cut and paste his name so no more gibberish!) but I don't know what set it is from or where to find it on bricklink...

I like it :) Your armies don't cease to amaze me. I like the structure, and how your army is pretty unique to MOC Pages
