Alexander Dennis ALX400 Double Decker Bus - Metroline
Here is a Metroline ALX400 double decker bus. Metroline are a large bus company operating in London.
About this creation
Here is my model of a Metroline Dennis Trident. This is a real bus operating in London. I found a pic on the internet so I decided to build it. This model represents a bus on the 266 route to Hammersmith. I have tried to get this as close to the real model as possible although I found it a lot tougher than it looked! There is a detailed interior with dark blue seats, yellow poles, blue floor and a staircase to the upper deck.

Lastly, here are pictures of the lower deck and the upper deck, including a view down the stairs. These aren't great pictures but hopefully show enough detail.

And here we have a pic of the real deal.

Thanks for the comments, glad you like the model! I still have it in a cabinet, things have changed a lot for me since I was last on here, I'm now a married man and I haven't logged on to here for probably over 2 years! More to come in the future... I'll be back with something else!

Hi. I must say this is my favourite double decker I've found so far! Brilliant build. I'd love to have a crack at building it. Is there any way I can get hold of the build instructions? Michael

When I saw the thumb nail picture, no kidding, I thought it was actually a real bus. Its so accurate. All it needs is some advertising on the sides and your ready to go. If its mini fig scale, send it off to Lego and they should add it too their city collection sets. They don't actually have a bus. Good job!
