Ok, this is version 2! I have Brickarms now, and Helmets, so the minifigs are better. Im not happy with the back of the jeep but here it is! I went for dark grey this time. I'm especially proud of the roof. As far as I know it's the only one (at the moment - I'm sure people will see this and put roofs on theirs) on the internet with a canvas roof! Which I got from The indiana jones shanghai chase. (sorry if I post too many photos - I get carried away with the camera!) I was inspired to make this MOC by Daniel Siskind's Jeep. I've changed the whole back and seats though.
Milan, I'm proud to tell you that you inspired me to destroy my old Willys and made my own (using your idea for the mudguards) and I'm proud of it!!! And I believe you that the underside is SNOT but can you post pictures of it please???
Very clever, looks fantastic and in mini-fig scale to boot. Congrats on side by side mini-figs in a 6 wide car. Would you believe me if I told you I'm doing that in a five wide vehicle? Fantastic work, and did you custom make those mini-fig accessories?
Quoting Mackenzie B.
which set did that face with the brown mustache come in?
the brown mustache came as a dodgy part in the chase for the stolen treasure set. It's meant to be gray, don't know how I got a brown one. They probably put the wrong part in the set. - I'll consider making instructions, but the front with the grill is similar to Daniel Siskinds, so I'll have to check if he's Ok with the instruction Idea. Though I've made it completely differently, would you believe the underside of mine is SNOT technique!
Very very nice! My only complaint is that the machine gun could be done a bit better... is it a .50 or a .30?
Please take a look at my SAS Jeep (light version). It's in the WWII group. And how the heck did you get your hands on those helmets?! Did you buy them when Brickarms was still selling them?
