About this creation
I've never had any interest in Mechs before, but once I started building this little guy, I just couldn't stop. I used the legs from the Lego Lesovikk model, which seemed perfectly suited to this type of use. Maybe it's cheating to use Bionicle legs instead of building them out of click hinges, but hey, I love this design.
When I finished building this mech, I noticed something odd about it's design. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Saber-scorpion and his Nova Refuge work, but the Falcatta could probably be commissioned in Xarkon, no problem. I didn't notice this until I finished, but when viewed from above, the Falcatta bears a slight resemblance to the Crown of Xarkon. Odd.

Designed to be a small, swift recon unit, the Falcatta features a slim profile for easy maneuvering through forested areas.

Loaded with only two heat seeking missiles and a triple barreled chaingun, the Falcatta is not a heavily armed vehicle, but is easily capable of fending off an attacker long enough to escape.

Two PCOMM antennas mounted on the rear of the Falcatta are used to keep the unit in contact with the main force when scouting.

Thick rear armor plating protects the interior drive mechanism. The rear armor on the Falcatta is a honeycomb design sixteen centimeters thick, and capable of stopping an armor piercing slug.

The wing projections on either side of the Falcatta serve as additional armor, as well as protection for the weapons systems.

A neural link in the cockpit gives the Falcatta's pilot as much control of his vehicle as he does his own body. Weapons however, are fired manually.

Featuring a superb stability system, the Falcatta can stand on one leg if necesary.

The stability system, a patented DGN design, also aids in a quick recovery from falls.

The legs of the Falcatta can be fully retracted, allowing the vehicle to hide in caves or other small areas where it would be less likely to be spotted.

The Falcatta's drive system combined with the light weight design allows the vehicle to accelerate to well over one hundred kilometers per hour on open, level terrain, and as much as sixty miles per hour in forested conditions.

The Falcatta in it's natural environment; executing the job it was designed for.

It's paint was selected to be able to blend in in a natural environment, and even in urban areas.

Can you see him?
