Quoting Jesse Long
This particular model is not in scale exactly with the actual length of the building
Yes, you are correct it is not in scale. But it's Cafe Corner Compatible, so the building fits on a 32x32 baseplate. I dropped windows and shrunk what I modeled to fit in that tight space.

and the arch could have been done a bit differently than how it was done here. However, were you to make the building a bit longer and design the arch a bit differently, then it would have been a spot on reprodcution in LEGO minifigure scale. Still, with that being said, this is most certainly a nice building and it is rare to see a LEGO building that is based upon a real life building. I do apologize for the nitpicking, but for something like this, it is necessary.
Please understand that the photos of the courtyards (are not even of just one) shown above are not found attached to that real building. They are photos that represent (to me!) what those secluded New Orleans courtyards (usually found in the center of the block behind the fronts of the buildings) are all about! So I built a gated brick arch/vault entrance. It had to be thin in order to fit the courtyard onto the CCC 32x32 baseplate.
I don't mind the "nitpicking" at all!
Building LEGO minifigure scale Cafe Corner Compatible building that tries to copy "real" buildings is all about compromises!
