Well, finding old and almost forgotten sets can be inspiring... I found a box in my garage containing three Insectoid sets released in 1998, I remember buying them on a sale. The sets were 6909, 6919 and 6977. This MOC is solely built with pieces from these sets except the discs taken from the Droid Tank and the main cannons. I'm not sure about TLC's intention for the Insectoids, but in my world they are a race of Cyborgs, created by man for slavery purposes. After an uprising, they broke free and made it their main object to destroy mankind... (like the Replicants if you have seen the film). I'd like to pay homage to mr Steef de Prouw for the general idea for this pod, thank you.
