My attempt to build this superb Russian Fighter Aircraft. Lacking grey parts made me to build it in this "Russian Colors Air Show Demonstrator Scheme". I hope to get white bricks for the still black elevators soon. This MOC features customized cockpit panels for pilot and gunner, movable flaps, elevators, canard foreplanes, air brake, canopy & vertically pivoting engine nozzles...like the real thrust vectored ones. This allows the aircraft an unbelievable grade of maneuverability including the famous "Cobra", "Tailslide" and "Kulbit", a full 360 degrees somersault backwards. A video can be seen here:
It's to small to be a Flanker,(Flankers are the biggest fighters out there, at seventy-one feet long.) But great fighter anyway! I love the way its flaps, nozzles, Ect work! ~ Jack P.S. Scorpier the great, You know next to nothing about Flankers. They are the best dogfighter out there next to the F-22. The F-14s were WHOOPED by Sukhois in the Red Flag training course.
You did really good. There are some weak points as others pointed out. Then again there are some really nice ones, mostly your great stickers on the cockpit, a nice touch if there was one. The nose could use a little work, and the back of the cockpit could be not-so-steep. For the most part you did good. Keep up th good work and check out my stuff! -- Michael -- Since I can't see an argument without joining in, Sgt. Scorpier, Will B. is right, the SU-27s creamed the snotout of the F-16s. However, you're right about the F-22, which being the most maneuverable in production can out-manuever as well as sneak up on the Flankers without being seen, being stealth. (Guess, then, why I built one :-) In Operation Northern Edge, 12 F-22s shot down 144 F-18s, 16s, and 15s with no losses whatsoever. Cool, huh?
this review is mainly to Srgt Scorpier. The f-15 got "owned" by Indian Su-30/37 in a joint airforce tactical scenario. The f-15s got beat 9 out of 10 times i think it was. It was largly part of the fact we rely on AWACS and our fighters practice with "agressor squadrons" which are like A-4's, or F-4s or F-16s. BUUUT anyways. about the moc itself. hm. it needs to be bigger actually. The Su-27/30/33/37's are pretty big. the engines deffinatly need to be larger and they look like turbojets, no afterburner chamber. 4/5!~~Willard
This...is...AWESOME! I'm gonna make my own fighter jet now. Something original....anyway thanks for the inspiration! (also for the guy below, I don't know as this could be pwned by an F-14....maybe the raptor...idk)
