Purple Man's Fortress
IT'S DONE! IT'S FINALLY DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This superbly annoying piece has been sitting on my shelf for a few months now, just waiting for the order of 1x1 light gray rounds... and now I have them! It is done! YES! Enjoy. :)
About this creation

The MOC. I know, details are kind of sparse, but I was getting fed up with this little piece of okay, next picture.

The front of the MOC. Look! Water!

Robin Hood likes to take from the rich and give to the poor. Or maybe he's Yukon Cornelius.

Only the bravest of green dares grow near Purple Man's Fortress!

A strange peep being chased by a ghost.

The Castle.

I like dark gray cliffs, as you may know.

The whole reason that this MOC was built! Although it's a little wider than I would have liked, and I left out the windows, and it is just a little warped, I still like the overall look. :)

Purple Man's trusted advisor, Dandoo. :D

No flat walls here, Brik.

Come inside, it's nice and warm.

Or not. A tower, as you can see.

The tower 'up there.' No guards are allowed up here.

Purple Man himself, with his trusty staff that can double as a mega gun of death.

Look! Studs! I was originally going to tile it, but I'm running on a budget, people.

The Dwarves hard at work. I am really proud of the strength and look of the arches. (This MOC is the most stable that I've ever built! Hooray!)

The interior.

A guard... guarding.

Another guard... guarding.

Let's see... who's that?

Oh. That guy. He's Davy Jones Jr. He mixes potions.

The minifigures used in the MOC.

From left to right:
Purple Man, Dandoo, Guard 1, Guard 2, Dave.

Robin Hood, Dwarf King, Dwarf 1, Dwarf 2, Dwarf 3, Peep, Ghost.

Quoting Lord Lego 436 Hey Joe, what Bricklink store did you order your bricks from? Did they have a LOT of normal light grey bricks?
I ordered from Yellow Farm Bricks. (They were great!) They had a few light gray bricks, but most of the light gray was light bley. (Huh? :D) I was mostly in it for the red brown.

Excellent! I lovethe rounded tower. My only complaint is the top of the terrain. It looks kind of uneven... Other than that it's excellent!

Awesome job, dude! "No flat walls here, Brik." What's that supposed to mean. >:P As usual I'm a big fan of that round tower technique and you did a great on it. I also like the guards uniform, very fashionable.

Not bad! Looks like you were experimenting a good bit with some of the techniques used for castle building, and you've handled them nicely. Good job on the amount of interior space as well (often builders get too cramped with their space). I'd love to see you take it up a notch with some more detail and sharper pics on your next castle...if you choose to do another one, of course. But meanwhile, nice work!
