EVA Unit 04
EVA Unit 04, which was being developed in Nevada before its engine exploded and Unit 04, along with the entire research facility, vanished.
About this creation
EVA Unit 04 is a pecuiliar unit from Evangelion, in that it never actually appears in the show. All that is seen is the giant hole it left behind after the engine exploded. However, model kits and action figures portray Unit 04 as an exact replica of Unit 03, only silver in color. Random fun fact: Hideaki Anno, the creator of Evangelion, recieved various hate mail letters over his original two endings to the show (episode 26 and "Death & Rebirth"). He later used some of these letters in the "End of Evangelion" movie.

I built Unit 04 on the same frame that I used for Unit 03 and simply replaced the black bricks with grey ones. As it was more of an afterthought, I didn't add any shoulders (though I may later, depending on what pieces I use for my next creations). The mouth still opens and the facemask is still in place.

Shot from the front.

Shot from the back.

Shot from the top down.

And for this page's YouTube song, "A Crystalline Night Sky", which is actually played when all of the power in Tokyo-3 is being redirected to Unit 01's massive sniper rifle. It doesn't actually have anything to do with Unit 04, but it sounds moody and mysterious.
