Who said a 4-wide couldn't be extremely detailed? Obviously someone because every car is bland, boring, and blocky. So here's my solution, a super-detailed off-road truck! Features and realistic chassis (courtesy of Tommy N.), removable tires, and opening hood! Take a good hard look, this is the future of 4-wides! Okay...maybe not!
About this creation
Back view. Before I confuse you...this does not roll.
Side view. With a chassis underneath, you may get an odd wheelbase. So be prepared to make custom fenders.
Spare tire off and hood opened. The hood is simply a flag-shaped clip piece.
Engine underneath hood! I can't make it any bigger, or else the hood won't close. Trust me, it's harder than it looks to fit.
The body of this car is unlike any other 4-wide. It's entirely hollow! This allows for adding detail like this full chassis!
Since the chassis is clipped on, it's very flexible. This means you can pose the axles however you want!
Everything taken apart. The piece in the front connects the chassis to the body shell.
Try it yourself! I'd love to see what other designs you can come up with! It's very difficult to build a body around a chassis...so good luck with that!
H O L Y G O O D C O W that is the ultimate 4 wide. i need to build a body with my own design for that because that right there is awesome. and i thought i was good with 8 wide independent suspension, with other cool stuff.... (will post by the 29 of oct with new 8 wide) i lose :(

Pretty good! I love your use of mini-fig hands as the front bumper gaurd and rear tailpipes! Overall good design on the truck, and the chassis is excellent... is there any way to make it roll tho?
Yes, you can make it roll! Just not with these wheels. You have to get those technic pulley wheels and put TT tires on them. I forgot to take pictures of that... :/
