Star Destroyer - Imperial II Class
This MOC is somewhat like a Frankenstein monster not only in terms of ideas but also in terms of parts. As you can see it has a mixture of light gray and light blay parts. You'll just have to forgive me my parts are quite limited. But the end-result is not bad; right? Anyway I'm quite happy with it. I hope you'll enjoy it too.
About this creation

Instead of leaving the upper hull (flank) plain I thought it would be nice to add some accents to represent the 8 Turbolaser Turrets (typical) (at approximately where it should be)

Instead of using slopes for the upper city structure I opted to use plates instead. I tried using gray slopes but they "just didn't do it" for me. I think using plates actually made it looked serious and complicated.

After playing and replaying "The Empire Strikes Back" movie over and over and tinkering with the upper and lower hull numerous times to get the correct "look" this is the best side profile I can capture that represents closest that of the movie's Imperial Star Destroyer(ISD).

For the outer layout of the main hull I wanted to get a cleaner line so I tried avoiding using wedges with stud notches as much as I can (I used wedges that has no stud notches).

I used light blay for the engine nozles and inserted the 4 Cygnus Spaceworks Gemon-4 Ion Engine between the 3 large KDY-I Ion Engines. I did it by using the 2x1 modified bricks with hollow studs.

I also opted to use the 4X4 inverted dish for the Solar Ionization Reactor. Other than that the rest of the lower hull's (flank) design was the result of my own numerous tinkering. I wanted this ISD to have no wedge parts that have stud notches but unfortunately the parts that were needed haven't been made yet.

Impressive...most impressive! The proportions are perfect, it takes some skill to achieve that in such a small scale.

Quoting Moodswim . Very beautifully and accurately done!
Hey thanks, you're the first to comment on it. I have made the Victory Class Star Destroyer too (from the expanded universe) with the same scale as this Imperial II Class Star Destroyer. I just need to photograph it first then upload it here. I'll do that as soon as I can

Great job. Small, but detailed. But you should have taken some trans blue pieces and but them on the back of the engine to make it look like it was flying. But it's still good. ~ J
