This is a heavily armed (just check out the 6 linked autocannons on nose and wing tipped nukes) dropship, designed by the Rothworth Company for carrying highly sensitive packages to and from atmosphere.Strangely enough it is very similar to the infamous Gunrunner which was forcibly ceased from production 70 years earlier. War is a funny thing and now this model is a major part of Aus-Worlds fleet and is currently participating in the horse head nebulah war and is carrying a planet killer nuke in its cargo bay.
Wow!! An awesome ship you got there! I tried to make this cockpit stile a few times..but it was totally messy. You really did a good job making the cockpit design,it is awesome! The space and the computers inside, especially the capacity of holding 2 mini-figures are awesome qualities that i think every "heavy" ship would need. The color scheme really fits. The ''future-car"-like design really fits the idea of an attack ship. The wings are also nice.
The only thing i have to say is that if you added a little touch of color instead of plain-grey it would look more awesome.Also...It could have the GAIA colors.
Eventually...It's excellent! 5/5
Keep building! :D
I also have a new creation!
Quoting Marc Runde
How could I have missed this one?! This is a such a super clean build and that shape... awesome. It reminds me of these old supersonic plane concepts of the 60īs and 70īs. Very good, pal!
- Cheers Marc, yeh it seems not many people have seen this one. I agree, this is one of my personal faves for sure.
Quoting Shannon Ocean
A definite winner here! I was just going to say it looks so "classic" like something from Buck Rogers. Great work mate!
Thanks heaps mate, yeah this is really one of my favorites of my own building, probably the best shape I have come up with, and although it has received little attention, I take great comfort in the fact that it has won comments from some of the best builders on this site. Cheers Shannon.
Wow gentlemen, cosidering the great repsect I have for your respective endeavors on this site, your words are very encouraging indeed. Thankyou kindly. Even if only a handful of one's closest colleauges notice his/her work, it is such opinion that counts most.
I look forward to your next builds...
...!!!... This is your best work ! To say it simply, you've reinvented Classic Space, it's not just a tribute but (I hope) the beginning of a long serie of great MOCs in this theme ! Ultra sleek, clean, clever shape. I really dig this one, and I hope Shannon Ocean will see it because I'm sure he'll love it. Awesome !!!
This MOC is very cool. The sleek, flat shape is nice, good color scheme, great cockpit (seats are great and controls/instruments rock)! I do not understand how the cargo unit stays in place? My only gripe is the openings on the sides whan the cockpit canopy is closed, which look like they could be closed with a couple tall slope bricks and a few transparent 1x2 bricks built into the body of the ship. Overall great work though!
