Battle Aspern-Essling May 1809
Heres a little moc of part of the fighting around the village of Essling and the large Granary building.
About this creation

Austrian infantry assaulting the Grannary

This was the second day of fighting

French troops are driven back again. But reinforcements are moving up.

General Boudet's Division move to hold the Granary

I made the windows removable so the soldiers can fire out of them.

The French run back inside the buliding

An interior shot of the Granary

These are some of my new Dragoons ive made.

The austrians attack

They suffer huge casualties.

Napoleon sends forward his Guard regiments.

The Austrians

The French have held the village

The Old Guard hold the centre of the line between the two villages

Austrian artillery cut down whole files of men but the Guard stand and take it.

Dorsenne sits on his horse at the head of his men and never flinches as cannonballs land all around him.
