I tried to mimic the 79' design but expand it without going too far off the beaten path...
About this creation
Installing a chair (cuz I don't have another glass piece, clever, eh?)

Sleeping quarters

Climbing up and walking down

Back view

View looking down from the top radar (I think the big dish is too big for the base but I don't have anything smaller)

The rest of the shots are views from various angles...

First off i wish i could give you more than 5/5 it deserves an 11 ! secondly just cause it is a moon bace does not mean it has to be our moon !! the hugh dish is so they can hyper-wave the transmissions to earth from Andromeda :) always build first outpost on a moon till you get to know the neighborhood :) lol

Now, this is what I call an awesome moon base ! Everything is great in it: Classic Space look, lot of nice details, many spaceships... With such a big collection of MOCs, you should shoot a story !

Nice, much interior space :-) I too had the idea of using the big UFO parts for giant dishes some time ago, wanted to apply it in some other way, though. You'll see in some time ;-)
