Just when things couldn't get worse, guess what, they did! Now that God found herself a boyfriend, not only has she (now) not been laid in quite some time, she's unhappy! So go ahead and take it out on the world, I mean why the **** not? And to top it all off, she just happened to move in next door into her boyfriend's apartment, which means I have to suffer through their arguments at 11:00 at night!
-Reason being (part of reason located at top), I realized that no matter what I did, I was ****ed. Allow me to elaborate: if I win, I will be given another category which I absolutely fail at, and if I lose... Well... I lose, don't I? So then, now that that's done, shall we? Yes? No? Really? Too bad.
Here she is! If you're wondering what "she" is, she's a float! The first, as far as I know, actual parade float on MocPages! Woo! I was actually really surprised when I found no one had done this yet. I would have have cleaned and polished it up a bit, but there just wasn't time.
I'm actually writing this from a hotel room on Friday night, so I really only had until Thursday to finish it and take the photos. So if you complain about any of this, screw you! Anyway, this is the absolute front of the float (the float holds five tiers). Here you can see various and unusual heads that have been released over the years. Rest assured, I have many more.
If you're gonna make a LEGO float, you have to have monkeys! There is a "stand" on each front corner of the float, this one being a monkey eating ice-cream. Go figure.
This side hold one with a banana. And by the way, that skull is GLOW IN DA DAK!
The "new" LEGO minifigure mascot! Instead of the old one (plain red torso, blue pants, smiley face, black or brown hair), this one is much more detailed! His own pack, markings on his shirt, different-colored arms, green pants, and new hair! Fun for the whole family.
The general idea of this was to make a float with a "old-new" theme. Here you can see the old and new, from Aqua*insert name here*, to Imperial Soldiers to the evil mastermind! Oh, and the Adventurers. Now, I won't name all the figs, just a few of them.
The first tier Wizards' Corner. Classic.
Unfortunately, I don't think I took a photo of tier-by tier, so you'll have to make do with what I got. Not much to say really, enjoy a small percentage of my figs!
I'll leave you to look at them.
The sides of tier 2. Nice, ain't it?
Other views of the sides. Don't worry (or do), I'll probably liven this up a bit tomorrow.
The last two tiers. Beat that with a Sky Hawk, Uspez! I honestly don't know what the second-last tier is, just something that came to mind during the first few minutes of this wild brainstorm.
The top. And yes, I am aware that I'm missing one of the Three, Classic Space, but for some reason, I didn't think It belonged here. Which is really weird, considering that all I build is space. And I also have Symmetrical Syndrome, and there was no way that I would sacrifice the "old" mascot on the top tier. Note that all of these top three have the same face. Ooh...
Behind the pirate is a cannon (purchased before the games Chris, so HA!), that is somehow from the civil-war era. Yeah...
IN all her sterling beauty, with no minifigures. That sooo sounds like something that should be said in a Russian accent.
And just to prove that this is a vehicle, here it is in construction, showing the wheels.
A better shot (from underneath, if you couldn't tell).
Well, I think that's it, judges go and... Judge, offended people from reading this, try spending a week with my older brother, and Uspez... Lose.
I'd like to thank:
1.Chris, for again, making this possible and surviving through hordes of annoying teenage messages.
2. Uspez Morbo, for replying to my comment on his entry, and making me feel sure about myself.
3. The wonderful people at Avalon Hotel, Gothenburg, who let me upload this within schedule, due to their free internet access.
4. And finally, God, who made this Round possible, by fusing all her anger at her boyfriend, into several entities known as Diablo, Lord of terror, Baal, Lord of Destruction, and Mephisto, Lord of Hatred. This enabled annoyance among the population and generally pissed a lot of people off who later moved on to Buddhism. You go, girl! Teach that brotha' whose house 'dis is!
Hey, just got a request from you to join one of my groups. Before I approve you (cause I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but I gotta ask) how old are you again? Leave me a comment somewhere so I know. thanks ~ Chris.
Ha, Yuri, having to change your comment after Chris's vote lol. Nice build and hoorah for originality and the underdog. Be a shame for Uspez to go out, though, he's a class builder. Just my tuppenny. Good luck with the rest of the judges' vote.
Some more decorations and/or flowers and I think you'd have won. Wonderful idea, though. And a nice theme for the float. EDIT: Oops! This sounded like you already lost! I meant you'd have a better chance :)
