The Tigranes the Great Main Battle Tank is Armenia’s first completely indigenous main battle tank. The project was commissioned when the fact that the T-115 was too expensive and to complicated to mass-produce. The Tigranes the Great Main Battle Tank is smaller, faster, and has a more advanced self-protection system. It will ultimately replace the T-95 MBT.
It is just entering service so it has not seen service in Australia and New Zealand. 2 will make an appearance at the victory parade in New Zealand. The Tanks that are in service are being massed on the Syrian-Armenian border for a potential invasion.
Its main armament is a 130mm cannon. All new projectiles had to be invented to fit the new gun. With the introduction of new ammo the Tigranes the Great Main Battle Tank will be able to fire every type of ammunition. It is also armed with a 30mm coaxial machine gun. The other armament is a 40mm grenade launcher.

Defense: Chobham armor, Anti-Magnetic mine EMP generator, active anti missile defense system
