This is my second go at the F355 Spider. I built one about 4 years ago for my wife because it is her favorite car. Some of you may have seen it on this site. Since then my building style has changed, prompting me to revisit its design. This one is far more detailed and accurate. I have also included some pix of the real thing for comparison. PLEASE leave me comments and feel free to ask questions!

Notice the slight slope of the black portion... compare it to the real thing...
Wow! I can't believe I hadn't seen this before, what a great model. Very recognizable, and very well built. I do agree that the back might be a little funny...probably the curvy slopes, but overall a great build. Nice work!

As Firas pointed out already: Great work! But a bit uf critics too. I don't like the rear...looks weird with those 3x1 curved slopes. It is really interesting to see that different approaches on this car in LEGO end up in very similar solutions. Ever seen the revised version of Sven's F355? -> http://www.gearing.de/scuderia/english/street-cars/8-cylinder/f355-berlinetta.html Cheers & best wishes, Jens
I had not seen his...I was not too sure about the rear either. once i figured out how i wanted to tilt the black portion i had to find a way to have the sides come up smoothly. I thought about MANY different solutions and spent a couple hours working on different ideas... and while it does not look exactly like the real thing, it is pretty close and does look good. (IMO)
