Core SWAT Wheelbike
The Wheelbike was designed purely as a solution to the problem of Coruscant's undercity crime problem. Heavily armed and incredibly fast, the SWAT force uses these nimble vehicles for patrolling the city's ground level, as well as pursuing and rounding up criminals.
About this creation
Again, a few boring free periods at school gave me the chance to do this MOC. I liked the idea of Grievous's wheelbike, and wanted to do a 'not-as-good' version for the cops that seem to be the only use for the bland colors offered by LDD.

The front. I tried to balance the bike out, but in the end left it like this and went for the old 'repulsorlift' excuse ;)

Side view, showing the weapon pod. The guns were meant to be powerful on the basis that if you were dodging in and out of civilian traffic, you may only get one shot, and you would have to make it count. Plus, getting certain pieces to fit together on LDD is a NIGHTMARE.

The other side, showing the seat. I originally wanted the design to be closed, but in the end it looked much better (and faster) like this.

Yes, it sticks out a bit. Ideally, I would have used a bigger wheel to try and get the pilot inside a bit more, but that was all LDD had. Ah well, it's not too bad :)

A squad of the cars. Pilots are trained to effortlessly weave in and out off moving traffic at highly dangerous speeds, making them a formidable force.
