Altar of the Sun Disc
1532: In the heart of the Inca empire, the Sun Disc, a dazzling, jewel-encrusted golden dish, is the symbol of Emperor Atahualpa's holy power. It is the Incan sun god, holiest of holy idols. It is worshiped as if it were alive. All sacrifices, human or otherwise, are made to this idol. But the year 1532 is a tragic one for the Incans: it is the year Pizarro arrives, takes Atahualpa hostage and demands the Sun Disc as ransom. The Incan priests, unwilling to give up the idol, hide it away in an underground treasure chamber, protected by ingenious traps. Atahualpa is executed and the Disc's location is lost. 1927-In an underground Incan temple, archeologist Johnny Thunder and Latin American explorer Prof. Lupe de Leon have stumbled onto one of the most sought-after objects in history, and plan to recover it for science. But the traps of the Incans have other things in mind...

This is really good. I really like the way you built the altar and the base is great.

Johnny Thunder returns! Anyways, this is an excellent scene. You really captured the feel of a booby trapped temple with the gears in the back and the Aztec details in the front. Nice use of the dark flesh parts, too. I sure wish my sun-disk hadn't gotten lost...
