My first large MOC and longest one to make. This originally started out as an attempt to make a more accurate grey version of the Sentinel Landing craft but ended up being an original idea.
Truth be told I did originally complete it sometime in March, but my first version of it I decided didn’t look to good as you can see in the link below to my old gallery for comparison.
So I replaced a number of blue, black and red tiles and bricks. Added a lot of greebling to the pod and ship; even rebuilt the shuttle and sledge; got rid of the bubble gun turrets and even brick built most of the guns.

I decided this would be a rebel ship since there aren’t that many of them and to beef up my rebel forces. The ship is basically a war ship that can perform a number of roles ( e.g Gun ship, Drop ship, Troop or equipment transport… ect, ect) due to being able to be equipped with various pods that can fit the specific mission.
I guess some later inspiration for it was the Eagle from Space 1999; due to the Eagle’s ability to be reequipped for various missions.
The pod that it is equipped with is a sort of Hover Tank that started of as a basic one simply to carry troops. But I liked the idea of it being a separate vehicle and so it slowly changed in to one.
I’m happy with the way it turned out and plan on making various other pods for various missions it could perform.
Developed during the final year of the Clone Wars, The MPH Assault Ship was built for service in areas of space so hazardous that even the smallest capital ship could not operate with out sustaining damage. A limited number was only ever made as cost for these ships was more than ever expected. Although manned by clones they were captained and piloted by civilian volunteers and mercenaries familiar with the various dense dust clouds and nebulas they operated in.
But their ability to be reequipped for various tasks and missions soon saw them on the frontline of the war.
After the war ended, no more were produced as the need for their type of service was no longer required. The newly formed Galactic Empire then focused its resources and funding on more budget wise craft. Though some would be decommissioned and recycled for raw material and parts, others would fall in to the ownership of their captain and civilian crews on the condition that they disarm many of the ships main armaments.
While some were contempt with modifying theirs for services such as cargo transport and civilian work. Others with the right connections and resources, mainly spoils of war rea-rmed them with their heavy arsenal and used them for various mercenary and smuggling jobs.
During the days of the Rebellion, fewer than six found them selves in the service of the Rebel Alliance. Out of all the six, only one is still captained by its Clown War veteran captain; The “Missymissy”.
The MPH (Multi Purpose Heavy) Assault ship A.K.A. Missymissy
As mentioned above has taken awhile for me to build, and now that it is finished I can focus on other MOCS I’ve got planned or are already in the making.
The HAMAH (Heavy Armoured Mobile Assault Hover) Tank is a rebel repulsor lift assault vehicle that is transported in to combat by the MPH and is one of its standard pods that most MPH’s are equipped with.
Although MPH’s are in short supplies to the rebellion; HAMAH tanks have proven easier to acquire. Since transporting them through space is limited due to the limited means, many are instead stationed and on standby at numerous heavy fortified rebel bases.
As mentioned above the tank started out first as a simple pod for simply housing the troops. The shuttle bay in it was also part of the original idea. But I was always keen on the idea of the pod being a detachable vehicle by itself.
So it slowly developed in to one. But I still kept the shuttle bay in though.
You can see from the link above to the old gallery how much change has been made from my earlier version.
Shuttle (the Iron Box) and Sledge
I love lego vehicles that carry some sort of smaller vehicle within it. The shuttle was planned from the very beginning, the sledge however was added later as a means of housing the extra troops in the back.
The Shuttle (The Iron Box)
I had the idea for the shuttle right at the start. It to has gone though some changes from my earlier version; mainly because the lego train part I had used to build the front cockpit looked a lot better on the main ship as an alternative to the clear blue canopy I originally used.
Since I didn’t know what to use for the shuttles cockpit I decided to try and brick build one with what I had. It turned out better than I thought; plus I could fit more figures in it.
Originally I planned on filling the shuttle with the Rebel Troops I had made. But I couldn’t fit all of them in it. So instead I cobbled together a sort of sledge like platform that could be stored in the back of the tank and easily rolled out.
I figured a few shots of the crew compliment with the ship would look good.

This is nice. How long did it take you to build it?
Honestly I can't remember but I recon 14 months at this stage. Yet I'm still making changes t it as you may have seen in my other gallery for.
Am considering redesigning the cockpit.
Thanks anyway for your comment.

Yes, yes, I remember this ship, it's all coming back to me now. Are you just about done with it?
Almost done, I've been working on a new pod using the few bricks I've got but it hasn't runed out as good as hoped it would.
The ship and tank however I think its safe to say are now finished and I will be doing new photos of them soon.

This is a cool ship, Dude! You should photo edit this one, like the Strike Shuttle. What program do you use?
To be honest I have been thinking of doing that with this and my armored Y-wing. But right now I'm still making changes to this one; replacing all the blue and altering the wings so they are more secure.
I've also started on making some new pods for it.
Thanks for your comments, also like your BG Mocs.
Oh yeah I forgot, to answer your question I.ve been using COREL PHOTO.
