Wee li''le beesties
A first attempt at lego micro armor. Main battle tanks of the Confederacy.
About this creation
i blame the pool. Man, that deep end looked DEEP. Eight feet will hold a lot of drowned kids. Took me years to work up the nerve to finally go off the diving board.

So here i am centuries later and i'm eeeeassssing into the kiddie side once again with a couple of sword-drills. Oh well, at least my feet are getting wet and hey! a guy could still get in over his head in the shallow end. If he laid down. On his face. And very purposefully stayed there.

Google Earth + Axis and Allies = little lego tanks.
Never was any good at math.

Y'see the Confederates love guns so much they sometimes get a little carried away. So one enterprising commander decided to paint an arrow on the side of his company's tanks to remind his troops which end is the painful one. An equivocal success, it reduced the number of IDJIT's (Injury Due to Joke Involving Tank) to one. That "incident" is currently under investigation.

My hope is that i lose my job and have nothing to do but sit around and create my little armies and the worlds they blow into single, little lugs.

As you can see this tank belongs to the same aforementioned unit.. in fact it was this tank from which the unfortunate hick recieved his career ending injury. In a bizarre series of coincidences it was Blondie, the commander's own driver who was discharged on the very day the Commander's little golden tressed daughter was born. The board of inquiry's first challenge is to determine how Blondie got loaded into the cannon in the first place.

Nifty little tanks you have there. Mini scale doesn't seem like the easiest way to build, but you managed to pull it off. Even if you hadn't made any references to them being tanks, I would've been able to figure out what they were right away.
