Lumaiyre: "Hold out your palm."
Gringat: "...Okay..."CRUNCH!! "Ow! What the hell!?"
Lumaiyre: "You will find love once more! Look to the stars!"
Gringat: "... Give me my hand back." ¬.¬
About this creation
Gringat: "Ahh Lumaiyre. One of Nivorn's minions - and what a strange bunch they are.
"Lumaiyre has divinational powers derived from the stars. He can read the constellations, and forecast disasters across the Matoran Universe - usually fast enough for us to fly Korrothis somewhere before it's too late.
"...Although a more cyryptic individual I'd never want to meet. He talks vacantly, often to thin air or inanimate objects. He has a habit of staring people in the eyes and reading their hands to find out about them - and he's always right too. It's disturbing.
"In your strange organic world, astrology powers don't count for too much, but here in the Matoran Universe, it's actually a pretty professional area. The Red Star, for instance, created the Toa Ignika! Toa stars flash and twinkle in the night sky, flickering, moving. If you can read the sky, the world's the shellfish of your choice.
"He's still a wierdo though
"Lumaiyre is one of Nivorn's minions, living in the palace of shadows with the Shadowlord. His quarters are right on the top floor, so he can read the stars in the night sky.
"He has no particular abilities in battle. He carries two dreamcatcher-sword thingies which can have a similar effect to Toa Shadow's "Eternal Nightmare!!!11!!!ONE!1" attack when fully charged - although charging them can take a few years. They absorb the nightmares of the people of Korrothis - and I must say I sleep very soundly because of them.
"Also, he can alter probabilities in his favour if the need arises - much like the Kanohi Calix does, although not as extreme."
"And, as his title suggests, he can also manipulate the light coming from distant stars - this is good for confusing navigation for ships below, but not much else."
"Nivorn has him, for now, but he and Balin the Lightlord have been arguing whose domain Starlight comes under for millenia."
Lumaiyre comes from the French word for light, although I had to re-spell it to do away with the need for an accent over the i.
I had fun with those 3 Strakk heads I got ^^
And I'm sorry for the long rambling description if it annoys you -but it's reference material for my storyline, as much as anything. ^^ I can't remember what ALL of my characters a like off the top of my head now can I?
