Halo Hunter
The Covenant Hunter - the biggest, toughest and downright the coolest species in the game(s)
About this creation
Moving around like walking tanks, Hunters, or Mgalekgolo, are a hive of worm-like creatures clumped together inside armour to create a massive bipedal organism. Their armour is extremely thick and pretty much impossible to get through, so the only way to kill them is to aim for the gaps. They carry with them a big shield and a Fuel Rod Cannon (although in Halo 2 it fires beams, not fuel rods).
Always travelling in pairs, Hunters can be extreme pains (especially if you have Marines with you, as they will almost certainly be killed). In Halo 1, however, they could be killed with a single shot to the exposed back by a Pistol (which was absolutely awesome in Halo 1), a Sniper Rifle, or a Shotgun (at point-blank range). But in Halo 2, it takes way more than that to kill them. On Legendary, they take more than a full clip of Sniper Rifle rounds in their most vulnerable spot before they are finally dead.

My Hunter design is dark blue, which is darker than they are in Halo: Combat Evolved, but about right for Halo 2. I think it does a good job of capturing that squat, scary look. I got the feet idea from Mondaynoodle, the way the legs attach from Mandalore (as he is known on SSLF) and the head and spines from Sabre-Scorpion - but other than that the design is fairly original. Don't you reckon those metallic silver tiles on the shield look absolutely awesome?

The Fuel Rod Gun is most definitely original. It's my own design, and I'm very happy with it.

The Hunter in relaxed position, with its neck extended. You don't see them like this that much in Halo 2, but in Halo 1 if you keep yourself hidden you'll often notice them like this.

The back of the Hunter, still in relaxed position. Here you can see the exposed orange flesh (or rather, worms).

Size comparison. My Hunter comes to just above ten feet, somewhere in between the 9 ft of Halo: Combat Evolved and the 12 ft of Halo 2.

Quoting Ernesto Perez (the public says): PLEASE MAKE INSTRUCTIONS YEAH WOW! (AGAIN)
Please look at my homepage. I will not post instructions. If you know your lego enough you should be able to mostly figure out how to build it yourself by studying the pictures.

Quoting Kir Kanos Kalinka If you made this yourself, then it's the best I've seen. If not then what success r u really getting from this?
I made it myself. It's got a few design ideas from various other builders, but the way I used them all together, and the rest of the model, is completely original.

A pretty good model, you mash all the other builders and your own ideas together well. Thumbs up!
