Human scale 40:1 1x1 plate
Just for fun, I built a 1x1 plate at human scale corresponding to a multiplication factor of 40.
About this creation
During the meeting aiming to prepare the Fana'Briques 10 exhibition, human scale lego buildings have been considered. But, because we had absolutely no idea about what it really means, I decide to build the smallest part with a stud : a 1x1 plate with a multiplication factor of 40 corresponding approximately to the human scaling factor.

This is the result after 5 hours of work.

Some data :
- the lateral size is of course 40x40 studs, the height of the plate is 13 bricks and the stud is 8 bricks high with a 28 studs diameter,
- this "part" has a volume corresponding to 16502 1x1 bricks but has been done with approximately 3500 parts,
- this "part" has a weight of 5 kg.

Conclusion :
Building a human scale lego model (even a small one) is a huge amount of work requiring a very large number of bricks and producing very heavy buildings.
