(Oh-no-re-ko-way) Ben~'s old BRC character. Where did this little guy end up, anyway?
About this creation
Onorekowea is a member of an ancient tribe of Gurital - a specias that come from the same common ancestor as the Agori, but are less intelligent and mathematically minded. They make up for this by being extremely cunning and tough survivalists out in the wastes where a camp of Agori would die out in a matter of days.
He fights with a tomahawk axe, which is equipped with a hooked spike on the other end for climbing and crafting. He carries a backpack full of various essential items, and wears a tribal mask rather than a helmet.
He also has a pet toric snake named Lapula.
--The attack on the Monastery.
Onorekowea only briefly appeared in the storyline, as another guest in Ataklinus' monastery. He spoke the language of the Gurital - thankfully a language Ataklinus understood well.
When Magmar's army attacked, Onorekowea rushed to his own tribe to get reinforcements. Despite his tribe's help, the monastery still fell. The Templar were decimated, and Ataklinus himself died.
Onorekowea was not seen since. He is most likely still with his tribe out in the desert caves.
--Ben~'s MOC of Onorekowea is a lot better than this one - especially the hatchet axe, which I rushed on.
I chose a kakama, rather than a miru, just because that's how I always imagined Onorekowea - the sides of the mask look like tribal paint. Since the Toa Mata were based off polynesian designs and mythology, then obviously their masks would look tribal.
I also don't have those feet parts anymore, unfortunately. When you had a little brother like mine, nothing stayed unchewed for long. My Toa Mata definitely weren't the happiest ones out there.
Hmm, i must say, not too shabby. Though your right about the mask thing with Pohatu, i wanted to make it more masky than facey, and that silver Lewa mask was the only one i had that fit the mark. I wish i had the one u got, it would look better. Anyway, i can't wait for the stopmotion!!!! :D
((Oh, and Gringat, ur right, Onorekowea is back in his cave, wondering the fate of the strange beings from 'the battle of the temple' (what his people call it))
