Excellent Medieval Church Lots of great detail involved I studied Medieval times at School last year and I must say its very well done. Can you please check out this: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/175671
This is an excellent piece of architecture. Nice dome too, and very clever use of wing-shaped plates and square tiles on top to achieve the semi-spherical shape of the domed roof! Awesome in so many ways.
it looks complex! i mean the dome. :-) it feels so realistic and it enhances the feeling you really cared what you are doing :-) i can also see so many great ideas and nice useage of bricks. :-) great job! i like it much! :-)
Just amazing work aliencat!!!- well usual to you- you always invent new ways to put these great bricks together and create something like that- GRRREAT STUFF! Love the windows and dome and well all... keep it up...
As Mr. Levens so eloquently put it, it's rare to find a structure that really makes you stop and say 'How the...' The shape of this really makes your eyes squint to see exactly what is going on to make this happen. If you don't win with this, I will HAVE to see what beats it! Best of luck and once again...WOW!~H
The way you were able to tile to the interior walls edges, and then cover the jutting triangular left overs on the outside with those flanging low buttress walls is sheer genius. I dont usually rate building as sometimes I just see them as alot of pieces, but little inspiration. BUT this is a work of complexity and beauty, truly awe inspiring. I'd be surprised if this didn't win what ever comp it was in. Plus I love the use of the starwars guns in the windows, innovative.
