After making the Octuptarra Droid V.2 with the triple-clip technique (check out Octuptarra's V.2 page for a description), I just had to make the Destroyer Droid! I was very pleased when I found out that not only the arch piece, but also the steering wheel comes in brown. So unlike my Crab Droid, I could actually build this one in brown. Needless to say, the Droideka doesn't fold up and the legs don't bend. However, the arms are articulate. Comes in handy in combat ;).
The back. I didn't make the 2 foldaway plates on the hip because it interfered with the smoothness.
The instrucions. I don't think many people are able to build it, at least not with the brown parts ;).
As you can see, it's much smaller than lego's Droideka.

Very cool! It's a very clever build. Will you be my partner in this group?: http://mocpages.com/group.php/8969 It would mean alot to me if you could. If you don't I totally understand.
I have no problem with joining groups where I can just add my mocs, but I don't join contests. I simply don't have the time to make something based on the rules of the contest before a date. Thanks for the offer though, and thanks for your comment ^^
This is very impressive Master! The best part, in my opinion, on the design of the Destroyer Droid are the legs. It has a complex look on them that I really like. Great use of the lego figure hand piece for the third middle eye. I also like the comparison picture with the Battle Droid and the Super Droid. I really would like to see a picture of the Destroyer and the Crab next to each other. Just a suggestion. Excellent build and nice to see you posting new mocs! ~ Ghostman :)
