Good Luck Jamaal!
Ok then. I like LEGO because you can create many, many things out of it. These things range from pirate ships, to weird creatures and to space ships which can travel at warp speed. Whatever it is you make, you make it with your imagination. Your Imagination guides you and helps you come up with fantastic ideas to build many a thing. Some people are pro at it and some are still getting there. Whoever you are, whatever you do, please try LEGO at home. (lol.)
LEGO lets you create anything you want. Here we see a post apocalyptic walker being controlled by a machine which is hunting down a human resistance fighter. (has got no chance.)
Here we see my Coalition of planets star fighter. My imagination led me to make these things with my hands. If you donít let your imagination run wild, then you wonít get anywhere.
Even the humble mini scale train is a good example. A LEGO designer has taken a concept from a large train, then made it into a small sized version, in LEGO!
Here we see a picture of two cars up against each other. One fits a minifig and the other is mini scale. No matter what your passion, you can make something into any size.
Ahhh, the minifig. The little block like people we have all come to love. Whether they are pirates, space folk or ordinary people, they are always fun to play with and use in your creation. (This is my Matt Shack Mandalorian minifig if anyone was wandering.)
here we see my A.D.O.M. Robot. If you take all those small odd looking pieces and stick them together in any way you like, you can make things like this. Take awesome-o-sauras' (I still donít know how to spell it) Varion character. Awesome probably thought of him in the middle of the night, or while he was going to the toilet. Inspiration can come from anywhere. (=D lol Iím sure awesome didnít think of Varion on the toilet.)
You can make ships that fit into the palm of your hand, or you can make larger ones which require both hands, like the one below. This small raft is the ninja raft. it was made for the ninja line. Even the tiniest thing can make you feel like you are actually in that universe. (Thatís if you still have a ninja. lol I lost mine. shame.)
Here is another example of a miniscale. A small construction can be made into a huge item. (As long as you get the scale right.)
Your imagination and some LEGO can lead to big things! Take my ship for example. It started off as a design for a space fighter, but then I thought " hmmm this kind of looks like the bow of a ship". So it was modified and made into this magnificent (or so I think) ship.
Minifigs need homes right? So why donít you use you imaginational and make them on as shown above. Here are 2 of my minifigs standing in front of their large TV with Xbox 360. We all need some sort of shelter over our heads. These minifigs live a life of luxury donít they? =)
And last but not least, a hanger bay for a star fighter that I thought up. Every space vessel needs a place to refuel and get repaired. So why donít you use your imagination to think up some sort of structure to hold your ships in...
That is why I like LEGO. You can use it to express yourself in many a way. your imagination is the best thing you have. Donít ever let go of it or let other people think that it is no good.
Thanks for listening to me rambling on about LEGO and peoples imagination.
