Modern-style firehouse built to fit on the modular Cafe Corner system.
About this creation
This modular firehouse was a complete pain to build, but if anything is meant to be a showcase of what can be done in LDD. I would love to purchase this some day but it was already up to $600 before I put the roof on...

I aimed for a more "modern" look, drawing inspiration from newer FDNY houses.

Rear view, with the barbecue grill on the rear deck:

Apparatus Floor. This was by far the most difficult part to make because it was almost impossible to make an engine small enough to fit in a 32x32 building while still looking decently to scale. The apparatus bay is fully equipped with house watch, equipment racks, and a diesel gas pump (hidden behind the engine):

Second Floor. Kitchen, ready rooms, and living room complete with beds, TV, oven, coffee maker, and bulletin board. One veteran firefighter has a coffee while another wakes up from his nap:

Top Floor. Officer's office, showers, lockers, workshop, and of course the porcelain thrones. The officer is frantically catching up on paperwork while the probie works on the saw:
