In the year 2012, All of mankind was obliterated by aliens. Only the indigenous native peoples of the American Northwest and Alaska were saved from this fate, and were beamed off of the planet to a new world. They ended up on a forest planet by the name of Terrahk-Nurr. It is now the year 3492. The Native Peoples have lived in peace and harmony on this beautiful wooded planet for aeons, and combined their beleifs to create a worldwide tribal community. All was peaceful, until they found out they had not escaped evil.....

During the long cold nights, members of the Klahk-Ta tribe have been turning up missing, leaving nothing but a blood trail from their beds. The only clue to their deaths have been bits of fur found snagged on sticks and other pointy objects, and random claw marks and barefoot human footprints about. No one walks barefoot in Klahk-Ta tribal grounds, it is not sacred! These little bits of evidence are enough to convince the tribes Shaman Chief "Cries With Blood", that they were not placed here on this planet alone. He examined the footprints in the hut of the last disappearance, and saw they had not five, but six toes!

"Kushtaka!" The Shaman cried."The Kushtaka have concealed themselves within the tribal people when we were all beamed out. They have been stealing our people in the night!"

The Shaman paced about for a moment, and went to address his tribesmen to tell of his findings.

"Ancient Alaskan myth tells of evil shaman sorcerers called Kushtaka that are known to be able to take on the form of man or beast, and hide among us. They would transform at night and spy on the people in the form of an otter during daytime. Mothers would tell their children tales of evil Kushtaka that would steal them if they ventured too close to the water. Some Kushtaka live in the forests, and are described as being monkey-like creatures. They would tempt hunters to follow them deep into the woods with their cries. Their cry sounds like that of a baby, and when the hunters found them, the Kushtaka would take over their minds, and transform them in to Kushtaka.
After being beamed off of Earth, they were able to gather immense new power from the aliens, and are now able to transform themselves into fearsome beasts. They now haunt the forests of Terrahk-Nurr, taking out unfortunate hunters who cross their paths. I would never have thought they would come so far as to stealing us from our beds.... Watch your backs, and hold your children close. A time of darkness is upon us..." Shaman Chief "Cries With Blood" turns and heads toward the bike shed as the terrified cries of his people flowed in his wake.

The Shaman Chief sets off through the forest on his Phazecycle to track down two of his best hunters who had gone looking for food for the tribe, only to find his worst nightmare! He finds Adano being eaten by a Kushtaka! As he rides closer, he can see Hakalu trying desperately to fight off the giant beast. He zooms in with his hyper-lazor shotgun a-blazin to rescue his comrade! He barely avoids getting taken out by the Kushtaka's giant clawed hand. Will our seemingly hopeless natives make it, or will they be eaten by this powerful Kushtaka?!?

Only time will tell............

You do well at small, detailed MOCs :) You always see these giant builders, who fall to pieces when faced with a height limit smaller than their hand... I had always thought of you as one of them (Perhaps the best), but this shows it is not true :D
