A lot of inspiration was taken from the Japanese series "patlabour" for this design. Particularly the proportions and colours. It is intended as an extension of my CyberAgents series and features many similar joint design elements.
Major changes are the head design which is larger and more detailed, the foot design which has two sets of joints for greater poseability. I've taken the Guardian shoulder design and bulked it out a bit. There is a totally new body design. Like many of the early CyberAgents it does not feature a functioning waist in the early models, but I've amended this for the later designs.
The gun is totally new and is a variation on the one used for my Sentinel design (which is part of the MicroScale Fleet). The "Riot Shield" is a larger version of the shields used by some of the CyberAgent Knights. I only wish LDD did those parts in clear plastic.
Check list of possible changes:
I'm looking to add some jets/engines to make it a rapid response version (the version currently in my gallery sacrifices a lot of articulation to add the engines) and possibly some retractable wings. I'm also looking for ways to increase the size slightly without loosing the proportions. I'm keen to add a larger foot to give it greater stability and add more detail to the back section which is a little bland at the moment.
The CyberAgency was originally set up to resist alien invaders, but criminals have managed to get hold of fallen alien tech. The CyberAgency has therefore created a new class of CyberAgent, the Police Patrol Mech, or PPM. Now the CyberAgents are fighting threats from their own world, but who's force is stronger?
