A few months back I started to notice some very well made and highly pose-able Lego figures appearing on Brickshelf.com. Inspired by these models, mostly originating in Japan based on Manga characters, I began to create a generic series of robot designs for myself.
When I started to upload these to Lego.com in their LDD galleries I found many were getting rejected on the grounds they were copyright infringements, despite the fact that to my knowledge they were entirely my own concepts. To avoid this issue I called one a CyberAgent, and suddenly my creative side was awakened.
Within days I had created over a dozen CyberAgents and a backstory of them fighting an unidentified alien enemy. This is the story that I've built up from those early Manga inspired creations.
In the mid 22nd centaury, the Earth was visited by alien creatures. Their agenda and nature were completely unknown. But what quickly became apparent was their intention to strip Earth of any useful resource, from precious metals to water.
The United Nations realising that conventional weapons could not deal with this new threat needed an entirely new weapon in their fight. To this end they appointed the CyberAgency, a multi-national organisation dedicated to finding the aliensí weaknesses and exploiting them.
Their first attempts were the CyberAgent Samurai, but they proved insufficient to the task as the alien weapons became bigger and more powerful. Their second attempt was the much more powerful CyberAgent Knights. For several months these Knights fought back bravely until the aliens began to change their tactics. To continue the fight the Knights were upgraded, some became Angels and had wings and new weapons created for them, some became Centaurs and had new horse like bodies added and one became a Merman to fight underwater.
As the battle continued new types of CyberAgent were created including the CyberAgent Valkyrie and the twin super-angels SnowAngel and StormAngel.
With the aliens finally in retreat the CyberAgency created its final greatest weapons, the ArchAngels, capable of pursuing the aliens into space.
Meanwhile a new threat had emerged in the form of the Daemons, a race of other dimensional beings of immense size, power and some numbers as well. The CyberAgent Knights, Angels and Valkyrie proved ineffective, however the power of the twin Angels survived. Since these were the only two CyberAgents who employed magical powers it was determined this was the Daemonsí weakness. A search began to find the remaining talismans that partnered the thunder and ice amulets they agency already had. They found them and created a new team of agents, the CyberAgent Guardians.
The Guardians would finally prevail, sacrificing their power to permanently seal the gates of Hell and saving the Earth.
But as the world finally breathed a sigh of relief, the CyberAgency was forced to react to a new threat from their own people. Technology left behind in the battles between the CyberAgents and the Alien Invaders had fallen into the hands of criminals and terrorists. To fight this new threat a new class of CyberAgent was created, the Police Patrol Mech or PPM.
following the battles with the powerall corporation, in which various incarnations of the police patrol mechs battled their hybrid alien / deamon creations, the cyberagency discovered a sunken city (which they dubbed atlantis). Creating aquatic cyberagents they raced to capture the city only to learn it was their future headquaters sent 100 years into the past. Inside were the ultra class cyberagents, each possessing near unlimited power. They had been sent to save the future from a threat the cyberagency didn't have the power to stop in their own time, but a pre-emptive strike could save the earth.
Following the ultra battles the agency discovered amongst the wreckage of the former PowerAll corporation a new class of hybrid mech they had been developing, the feral deamon/human tech Devil Max. Employing the Neo Prime Agent series of CyberAgents to tame them they soon learned they could combine to form the Devil Max armour variants of the Neo Prime series. They would save the Earth from the sleepers, aliens left behind from the original invasion.

Fantastic job! Very Phong-Chang-esque. I bet these are easier to build than with real pieces! Good job, I like them a lot.
unfortunately I don't have the right pieces to have a go, but yeah in LDD they are quite easy to put together.
I checked out Phong-Chang's models and I'm flattered by the comparison. I owe inspiration for most of the designs to various modeller over on Brickshelf, I can't remember them all but I should really thank:
