Tenat Escape Ship V.02
The revised version [V.02] of my Tenat Escape Ship. The Tenat people lived on a rich and flourishing world in the Agari system under the rule of a diplomatic governing parliament.
About this creation
This is the second version of my Tenat Escape Ship, also being my second creation to be posted on MOCPages. If you have seen my original version you will notice many many differences. The most important being the quality of my photography. This is mainly due to me having a real camera this time around as i used my phone camera previously.

There was a great range of problems and improvements i wished to change regarding the first version. Mostly it involved the rear of the craft being too wide and square as well as the interior lacking detail. Whilst the detail on this one is still not great, i found putting any more on makes it seem too expensive to be just an escape ship. After all, they are technically throw away's right?

So without further rambling, please enjoy:

The story of the Tenat people:

The Tenat people lived on a rich and flourishing world in the Agari system under the rule of a diplomatic governing parliament. When the Antaru discovered their planet, it was only a matter of time before it was enslaved. The conflict lasted mere days before the Tenat fleet was overwhelmed and Antaru troops landed in the cities. Seeing no hope of winning against the might of the Antaruís battle hardened troops, the remnants of the Tenat government gave the order for planetary evacuation.
Great numbers of these small escape ships had already been made many years before and housed in huge underground hangars in preparation for a full planetary evacuation. When it was time, hundreds of thousands of these one person ships were launched from the hangars in an effort to escape to the neighbouring planetís moons where many ships with FTL (faster than light) drives were hidden. Once reached, these escape craft would dock with the larger vessels and be taken to safety.
The ships were armed with low yield mid-range energy cannons to aid in escape or avoidance of capture.
The original Tenat world remains under the control of the Antaru, intelligence scans report that the planet is being stripped of every usable resource. Those left behind will have been forced into slavery, to work to serve the Antaru.

Standard Ship Specifications:

Weapons: 2 Mid-range Photon Cannons
Shields: None
Propulsion: Sub-light
Power Source: Small NaRydium reactor, Solar Panels

Above: A Mid-Range Photon Cannon

Above: A Shot Of The Cockpit

Above: A Shot Of The Power Crystals At The Back Of The Cockpit

Above: The Front Shot With Pilot

Above: The belly - Just to note, the belly was made flat encase a crash landing was required. The idea was that should it be shot down or need to land for any reason, like in a docking bay, it caused minimal damage to the ship as it glides along the ground rather than digs in and has pieces of the underside torn away. This increases the chances of it being re-usable if your on a hostile planet.

Above: The Side Shot

Above: The Birds Eye View - This was taken during test flights.

Above: The Engine Shot- When the engine is fired up, you can see the air pulse behind it. I dont reccomend standing behind it at this time, because many mechanics were never found after they blew away....

Although the build is still iffy-iffy, the photography is much improved than v1. Nice job!

Quoting Nyan Oleg Good lines, good start to your MoC pages. Like the Minifig (sorry Aran--ite?)

Neat little ship! This caught my eye because I have a very similar ship as part of my debut ship. I like the simplicity of this ship mixed with obvious fore-thought, nice build!

Hey, Kieran! I see that you applied to the Landscapers guild. We'd love to have you, but require landscaping to be a part of the builders portfolio for joining. If you've got any landscape creations let us know, and submit again by all means. Or if you don't immediately have any, let us know when you do! Thanks, Kelso

I definitely like version 2 much better. The engine is larger, for one thing. One of the liaison officers from the Rim World Clans (one of my universes) got pretty ticked off about what the Antaru had done to the Aran. It as all we could do to keep her from taking off in her fighter ship to attack them single handedly! This is a very good Moc, the ship looks fast and neat. The "aging hippie" gives you a 5.
