This is capturing the opening of the gate at the end of Bimini Road....the gate to Atlantis.
About this creation
This is for the Devil's Triangle Group. Click HERE to check it out.
Two years after the discovery of Bimini Road, an archeologist discovered a key in a secret pyramid in the Giza Strip in Egypt. An orange round key was mounted above the arch at the end of Bimini Road. Many had proposed it was the true key to the Bimini gate that rested underneath the arch. They were wrong.
So in 1970, myself and 3 other special ops guys joined 2 scientists on an expedition to try the newly found key in the gate. To say it was a success would be an understatement. To say it was a disaster would be doubly so.
The scientists were unhesitant to place the key in the door and give it a go.
A surprise to all of us, it clicked in place with no worries.
We were the gear guards of course. I learned later that each of us were from a branch in the US military. Army, Navy, Air Force....and of course I was representing the Marines. Ooh Rah!!
The government wanted us to bring our own gear for this mission and no one was uniform. This bugged me at first. But I'm glad now that I wasn't being forced to wear some of the goofball garbage the Army was wearing.
As the gates opened, we didn't really know what to expect.
We noticed that the scientists looked distraught as the gates opened.
There was a blinding flash...........
And that's all I remember about that damned gate opening.
Finally, I get to see how you start your story! Now I can work on putting together a few of those characters you made. Mine is turning in to a monstrosity, but I'm excited for how it's turning out. I think I'll throw together an intro with what I have, to get my story rolling. Need to ask you a couple questions, but I'll post those in the group. Love the start you have, great work on the scene.~H

Cool! I like the story that is going on here, and the way the story is told is nice too! the MOC itself really captures the essence of the sea.
Glad I waited to comment. Much better with the whole story in place. I really love the concept of connecting all the ancient worlds together with Atlantis. Almost like it really could have happened that way... ~ Chris.
