"Better fill up, only gas for a hundred miles in either direction..."
Petr-O-Rama is a rusty, grungy and junk-filled retro 60s-esque gas station somewhere deep on Route 66. Some of my favorite details include a vintage Coca-Cola vending machine, art deco radio and gas pump. I built the car (based on the 1960 Chevy Impala) to help further the dingy vibe... it is supposed to be broken down, hence its lack of tires and dark rusty brown color.
It was a fairly quick build I finished a while ago... I just didn't have time to photograph it! Despite my lack of posting, I have been busy as a beaver building big things, so stay tuned for those.
Cool car. Also the Coca-Cola vending machine. Awesome.

Haha, I can hear the fuzzy radio playing in my head. I was thinking more along the lines of Australia. Lots of Astralian movies with junky gas stations. I love the Coke machine. Classy. The man is perfect. The car is amazeing! You build the wierdest things. You always achieve the proper shape. You never cease to amaze.

Wicked cool! I love the driver, and the roof of the place just completes it. A very nice scene for a horror movie, eh? "It came from the vintage Coke Machine..." Speaking of the Coke machine, very, very nice job on that. My grandfather has one, and you got the shape spot on. This is really nice. Great job!
My kind of car! Great work here, as usual. But something about this particular creation of yours really catches me... I think it's the fig. You always seem to combine the strangest elements to come up with perfect minifigs ;) Great addition of the old Coke machine too.
With your attention to detail on the smaller builds like this one, you bet your backside I'm looking forward to your bigger builds! Let's not take anything away from this one mind you. I liked the sloped roof particularly. Thanks for sharing! ~ Chris.
Wow! Great little scene. I really like the detail in this small MOC, like the detailed structure, gas pumps, etc. I also really like the Impala-type classic cat that you built. Great little creation, hope to meet you at Brickworld or something. Keep building! -Anthony Dunne
Sir Nadroj, this is superb. It all fits together so well, down to the last detail. That Coke machine is a master touch and the junked Impala is so well done, though I didn't get the year right before i read the commentary. I did remember that the design of the rear deck was a Chevy, though. The gas pump is the capper, just the right shape and color. It all adds up to a 5.
