About this creation
And so the F.I.S. training regime continued according to plan, Commander Blast and Fixer kept hiding themselves away in private meetings and the next three months were generally not very exiting parts of the war. Poor Jelli was still being held captive in a tiny cell on board the Calm Before the Storm and throughout the galaxy it was a short time of peace.
3 Months Later...
Blast and Fixer were in R.K.’s quarters in another private meeting.
“I’m still not sure about it.” Fixer said scratching his chin.
“If you have another plan then please tell me.” R.K. replied. “If not then this…” At that moment the holoprojector in the corner of the room bleeped into life.
“Turn it on for’us.” R.K. asked from his chair in the other corner of the room and Fixer flicked the on button.
A hologram of Iadsgb appeared, his hair whipping about his face.
“Blast!” he shouted over the roar of the wind.
“Iadsgb?” R.K. replied standing up and walking over to the projector. “Where are you?”
“Look down there Blast.” He pointed over the edge of what appeared to be a platform.
“Recognize it?” he yelled.
“Yes. Coruscant.” Iadsgb shouted into the wind.
“What are you doing?” R.K. asked.
“I’m standing on the Calm’s boarding ram; waiting for you.”
“Why?” Blast was struggling to hear him over the roaring wind.
“We have something of yours. Or rather somebody.” Iadsgb reached out to the side and caught the person pushed at him.
“Jelli!” Blast exclaimed as he watched Iadsgb grab the U.R.S. leader.
“Yes. I have your dear friend Jelli.” Teased Iadsgb. Jelli’s hands were tied up and she had absolutely no chance of escape.
“Let her go Iadsgb!” fixer shouted.
“Is that really such a good idea up here?!” Iadsgb looked meaningfully over the edge of the ramp.
“NO! Don’t do it Iadsgb!” R.K. lunged forwards and tried to grab her, forgetting it was a hologram and was zapped by the electric.
Iadsgb chuckled as Blast shook his tingling hand.
“Huh…come and get her.” The link was terminated and the hologram fizzled away.
“Damn him!” Blast cursed.
“C’mon! Let’s go!” Fixer grabbed his helmet from the desk. “C’mon!” he repeated to Blast who was still rubbing his hand, but picked up his helmet anyway and followed Fixer out of the door.
A few minutes later as the pair reached the corridor behind the bridge, Padfoot spotted them.
“Sir!” he started, but spotted that they didn’t look like they were in the mood to chat. “What’s happening?”
“The F.I.S. have got Jelli.” Blast said simply, barging through the doors and onto the bridge.
“Captain!” he shouted and the head ran up to him. “Take us to Coruscant.”
And so the U.R.S. blasted their way through hyperspace, Blast forcing the ship to fly at its very limits, until eventually the ship jerked into normal space above Coruscant.
“We’re here Commander, but no sign of the F.I.S.” the lead captain said to Blast.
“Maybe they’re in the atmosphere. Take us down.” R.K. replied.
The Manipulator tilted slowly forwards as they lowered through the atmosphere.
“There they are!” Fixer pointed out of the window and sure enough there was The Calm Before the Storm, it’s boarding ramp open with two figures on it.
As The Manipulator drew level, Blast got together with the other leaders and opened their boarding ramp. Blast and Fixer walked out and stood about halfway down, looking across at Iadsgb who was sill holding Jelli.
“Greetings Blast!” Iadsgb shouted over the roaring wind.
“Jelli! Are you OK?” Blast called over to the captive URS leader.
“Does it look like I’m OK?!” she screamed back looking terrified.
“Now, now. It’s rude to ignore somebody speaking to you. You were always very well mannered Blast; surely you of all people should know…” teased the F.I.S. leader.
“What do you want for her Iadsgb?” shouted Blast.
“What do you think?” he shouted back.
“No! For as long as I have support I will never give in!” R.K. yelled to the sound of clapping from his team.
“Very well. But it’s a shame to be loosing somebody like you.” The F.I.S. leader said quietly to his prisoner. “But oh well… this IS WAR!” Iadsgb grabbed Jelli’s bound wrists, spun her round and shoved her… right off the ramp.
