From the not so much modeling pieces I got, I've been able to make a classic Fiat 500. Sinds most of the parts are from the cool convertible model i did something different. It has technical features. And not just opening doors and stuff (it can do that to). no, it is able to steer from the steering wheel inside. And is has a working 2 cylinder engine. I didnt use any gears. just to show that you can make a simple steering mechanism and working engine in you model. (just for the info: it's 12 studs wide)
i hope you like it.
Nice work! The shaping is good enough to be recognizable, but some of the details are off... the hood/bonnet isn't quite high enough and the slope on the back of the car isn't quite steep enough. The opening elements are definitely good points, they definitely add to the model. The thing that I think needs the most work, though, is the photography... you have found generally boring areas to serve as backdrops, which is good, but the pictures themselves are a little dark and low-contrast... you should consider touching them up on your computer to add some brightness, saturation, and contrast. 80 from me; there's room for improvement but overall this is a good entry.
Cool. A Fiat 500 is a difficult car to built. There are a lot of curves and it is a small car. The interior is one of the hardest, because of the mid console and the speedometer. But you've done a great job at this one. Keep it up pal.
