This is my entry to the Battle Bug contest! Well, I didn't want to make just a robotic bug and was a little inspired by Moodswim's speeder bike. So I made a transforming Battle bug! I hope you like it!
About this creation
Battle Bug "The Sting":
-This Battle bug used in the desert wars could transform into a big anti vehicle cannon. It was a combination of spider and wasp and pretty maneuverable, which was required to change its position very fast
First the bug mode:
The cockpit folded down
Now the cannon mode:
Change the wings' shape.
Turn the whole bug around, flip the cockpit up, fold the legs down and open the rear
the wings work as a frame now
The rubberbands make the cockpit flip around pretty easily (don't ask me why he's still sitting like this)
I hope you like this one
COMMENT and RATE!
This new and unused Lego piece was ordered straight from PaB...R.I.P
Ya, its a bummer cause those pieces are so useful for mechs but brake so easily. Anyway, about your creation... I don't think I know a word in the English language to describe it so I'll just say :5/5 (cause that's what I gave you- duh).
This thing is amazing! =D You will definetly win our contest, maybe even the flickr one too, if you were on flickr! =D Nice job dude! Would you mind checking this out: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/183185

wow this is absolutely amazing i love the way you made it able to transform, great job!
Oops, I thought I commented on this before! Anyways, really great Idea! You are a great builder. I wanna learn eventually how to make stuff transform but make both modes look good like you and Moodswim do. Can you please post a link to the contest/group?

Excellent job, the wing design is nice, and the fact that it transfroms just blew my mind. Great Moc.
Wow, it looks great enough, but the playability factor is what gets me! As far as PaB goes, you should tell them that you recieved a defective part. They should send you a new one, no questions asked (worked for me); and if they don't like doing that, they should consider actually making them properly.
