I've made a French frigate (with 20 guns)called'Le Vesta'. I've been building on it for about 1,5 year. She has been displayed at Legoworld, Zwolle last year and I think she will be there again in 2011. The other ship you see on the picture is the Achille, made by Eurobricks member Perfectionist.
About this creation
She is finally finished! (after 1,5 years of building) This is how she looks:
A new overall-view with most of the sails.
Here you can see that it's possible to take the sails in. I can do this with every sail.
Here you can see my officers, the captain (and also my sigfig, called 'Admiral Croissant') and some midshipmen.
This is a view from the stern (how it looked before).
Thanks for viewing, comments and critics are very welcome.
Partly because of this posting, I find that you seem to be an expert at building historically accurate ships and I think that you would be a true source of inspiration and a valuable giver of advice to future shipbuilders, so I have taken the liberty to invite you to my new group Ship Builders guide.
I like it

Very nicely done, the attention to detail is excellent.
Thanks for all your comments.
Wonderful ship. I really like your take on the rigging and sails.
It“s fascinating how you make the sails look so realistic. When I get to building my ships for real, I might need to consult you.
I“m looking forward to see some more models from you in the future.
YOU have some true talent! I've always wanted to build a frigate such as this, the imperial flagship I wouldn't classify as a SCHOONER! Thanks for posting this AMAZIG price of art, maybe send instructions so we can all enjoy your masterpiece!
