an amazing rubberband gun
About this creation
The coolest thing about this gun is that it's full sized, and it works, shooting huge bands in semi auto, with about a max. capacity of 6. Using a reference photo in my book, and given the total length, I used my skills learned from algebra 1 and ratios to get every dimension exact. And I have to say, this gun has used more pieces than anything I have ever built. The hardest thing about making this gun, besides getting so many pieces(the gun's body is almost 3 inches wide and the total lenght is 57 inches)was making a large capacity, high-power band tolerance mechanism fit into such a small space(You see, I wanted the room for the cocking handle to go all the way back, and have a fake bullet inside(which I did)). Anyway, I think the mechanism is the best part because it is technically impossible to shoot more than 1 band at a time, no matter how much stress you put on the mechanism, without the pieces actually breaking, of course. Anyway, here are the stats of this gun, as well as a list of guns made that haven't been posted yet:

The real thing is made for taking out tanks, and , sometimes, enemy personnel. It is very heavy, i think around 29 pounds and has a very far range so a huge scope is usually mounted.

sorry, i forgot to make a video, you'll just have to trust pictures

Stats, Features:
47 inces long
6 studs wide
exact other dimensions of the gun
high strength semi-automatic-no-fail mechanism
cool scope w/turning dials
heavy weight
very long range
good accuracy

List of guns not posted yet(from oldest to most recent, note that most are snipers):
Springfield M1903 working Bolt Action Sniper Rifle
H&K G3 Sniper
Full auto full sized M249 SAW
M21 Sniper, Semi auto w/bayonet mounting
Working Claymore(uses trip wire to release 6 rubber bands on tripping)
Working Semi auto Dragunov w/acog scope
Working bolt action m40a3

side from an angle

just to prove that the other end of the tape measure is at the other end)

cocking handle area, i think the grey thing is the called the bolt carrier, but i could be mistaken

pulling the cocking handle back a little bit to show the tip of the .50 cal bullet, a rubber band snaps it back forward. Having this moving feature is what caused most of the difficulty in creating a compact but reliable mechanism

long side view(had to move far away)

note the length, just to verify that it is full sized

the muzzle brake, i didn't really care if it had the vents in the side or not

carry handle, and of course you can't actually carry it by this

The scope(its actually pretty big"

Good work on your Barrett! Obviously the only thing i'm worried about here is the color. But since this is full size, I can understand not having enough pieces, as that is my problem. But other than that, 5 out of 5.
