Made with the classic 395 Rolls Royce kit with a few technic bits for the working steering.
About this creation
About 100 years ago someone had the bright idea of slotting their biggest engine in their shortest chassis and fitting the lightest possible bodywork. Sports car fans have been rejoicing ever since. This is my humble homage to that genius.
Back in the day, this baby was capable of more than 70 mph, which must have been entertaining with rod operated brakes on the rear wheels only ...
This is the grandaddy of all those Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Lotuses etc.
Hi Nick; :-) first of all: I like this moc! I was about ten when I discovered the classic cars in a Disney magazine, great was my disspointment the maazine was old, and the series long time stopped. I never managed to get enough tires for those rims since... :-( As for this model : clearly it is a Mercer, and I love the steering function, but I would propose a makeover with other technic techniques. Now, secondly, and the main reason why I let you a message: I think that MO category must suite you well, I hope all the best, I really enjoyed our entries so far, and go for the victory!!! Best luck!
