Golden Relievers Mocathlon entry for Category 22, set alternate category (remake of 7037 -- Tower Raid)
About this creation
Welcome to the Rargar's Gym, birthplace of the Medieval Fight Club and the MFC Championship Tour. I'm Sven and to my right is Mudboff. We're going to take you on a quick tour of our training center and show you a few ways we prepare for the MFC season.
First of all, let me show you what it's all about for the competitors on the MFC tour -- the helm of Rargar. Unfortunately, the first winner of the MFC title can't be with us today because he was eaten by a dragon. Oh well, at least we saved his gear!
We train with edged weapons every day here, but serious injuries are rare. Deaths, however, are not.
That ducking maneuver is a dangerous one for Lars, who might just find Kunar might just take care of that migraine of his by cutting the problem off at the source . . .
We use the horizontal bar to improve strength and remind competitors that danger lurks everywhere in the MFC -- especially if you get lippy with the coaches.
Another way we build power is this shoulder press machine. Not much to see here, but Marthan here is really straining to impress you with his strength. Cool it, Marthan, they're not interested, either.
Since this is the dark ages, we rely on fire for light and heat -- and as a motivator on the battle platform.
This is one of Rargar's innovations; if the competitors stand still for too long, the coaches literally light a fire under their backsides to keep the action moving.
Many fans want the league to add this feature to the competitions themselves, but we've had to rebuild this gym six times in the past three seasons due to fire. Not sure it's such a good idea afterall.
Hey Sven! There are other ways to motivate these guys . . . oops! Sorry about that eye, Druben!
After a hard day of training, or after an unfortunate accident, our athletes can catch some rest (or rest eternally) in the Rargar Pavillion. Well, that's it from us -- come see us on tour in a village near you!
************************* REQUIRED BUSINESS **************************************
And now for the required photo of the parts used . . .
You represent the LEGO ideal I do not know if you were areound in the old days. but LEGO used to show alternate models on the back that you could make with the parts enclosed. When you showed the parts of you playset and then what you made with them it was the old days come back!
You became an inspiration to younger collectors and said:"see what you could do with a little imagination!"
Bravo for that!
I would have liked to have seen the back of the front door!
I do not know if you know it but Lego Mini figures series 5 will have a boxer with GLOVES.
I loved your boxing ring!!!!
I am adding you to my favorite builders list!
You went beyond and made up an entire story out of one set! This is worth a 4 at the least! The only reason you're little short of a five is that you took a Castle set and made a Castle alternate. But still... wow!
