congrats on MOTD i seen these cal-mac ships steaming passed me hundreds of time while fishing on the W coast of scotland, very nice example, nice colours shaping, the interior is a plus,CAL-MAC incorperated into the hull would have finished it niceley
I like VERY, VERY much! Amazing rendition of the flagship. Superbly accurate with the passenger areas and just as fantastic on the outside of the boat. The best LEGO model of a Calmac boat I've probably ever seen!
This ferry you have created is truly amazing!
I'm a huge fan of calmac,(i take it you are aswell), and i hope one day i could build something this ASTONISHING!
Anyway,i really love it and im giving it a 55.
UK's No 1 Calmac fan
this a great creation i love it. I'm starting to make the mv clansman, i've been on the mv clansman, mv isle of mull and mv eigg because i've got relatives in scotland who live on some of those islands. could u take a photo of the car deck.
It's an awesome ship i would go to the calmac office and try and get a sticker for the funnel. Where did u get all the pieces from? I making the clansman i have just started but it will be hard to make it as good as yours. do u put toy cars in it?I can't wait to see more of your creations.
Fantastic ship. The scale is beyond what is normal for mere mortal lego builders. For the bridge, I would recommend using an inverted windscreen like a 4284 or 4872 for the exterior windows. I don't know what kind of equipment would be on the interior of this type of ship :(. There are other inverted windscreens out there, but these are some of the more common examples: http://peeron.com/inv/parts/4872 or
