An entry for the 2010 Moc Athon in the category of "5 Man Action Team". Obviously I was influenced by the Olympics. Please enjoy!
About this creation
Meet the Team Pride Bobsled Team! On the far left is me, the steering man. Next comes Brian Peczyna, the brake man followed by AJ Pride and Hector Bover, who assist the bobsled greatly. Finally, the coach that brought us to the Olympics, Chuke Lapman! (yay applause!)
A close up of Mr. Lapman. Notice the headset for communication.
Here's a close up of the crew. Now onto the race!
All right men, you have trained 4 years for this! When I say go I want you to push like never before!
Ya you sissies! You better take position!
Go! yells Sam Ellis and they are off and running.
Brain get you head down! Do you know anything about aerodynamics?
(Announcer) And team Pride is off to a great start!
Don't worry team I'll be with you the whole way!
(Announcer) This team has gotten the fastest start out of anyone here today!
32 miles per hour...
48 miles per hour....
55 miles per hour.....
Phoom! CENTRIPETAL FORCE!!! 72 miles per hour.....
All right team! Thats the kind of run we trained for!
(Announcer) Wow! Team Pride came through the finish at an unprecedented 92 miles per hour!
Yup that my team with the new World Record. 43.22 seconds was pretty much all my doing.
Ok team now to celebrate! Excellent work men.
Get those hands up! Your going to need the practice for the celebration party tonight...
Commentary: My teammates are all great people and thanks for putting up with this MOC. If they are portrayed in a bad way, it is nothing like their real personality, only for the comedy of the MOC.
Hello. My 9 year old son saw your "creation" online while trying to find an olympic bobsled play set. He absolutely loved your creation. We have been searching for a bobsled team since the olympics. Would it be possible to get the instructions and materials needed for him to build his own bobsled? Thank you so much for your time.
Well done, well presented and with some good humour! I love how Chuke effortlessly keeps up with the rest of the team. Too bad this didn't cause in me a strong enough emotional response to strectch my judging a bit further (5 points: Goldman and Kelso better watch out because YOU have arrived!). Still, 4 points are well deserved :)
